Executive Chef
Lincoln Stevens

Chef Lincoln, a true connoisseur of cuisine and a visionary in food presentation and design, was naturally drawn into the art of cooking – even at a young age.  His passion for experimenting with unique combinations of ingredients and his unremitting habit of daydreaming about creating new menu items are part of Lincoln’s inventive culinary process. Now, after more than 15 years in the culinary industry, he has built an extensive catalogue of dishes that he continues to add to and experiment with.

An accomplished chef with experience in both restaurant and catering arenas, Chef Lincoln served as executive Sous Chef of A Legendary Event’s culinary team of 30 people from 2002 until 2006. In addition, Chef Lincoln oversees the company’s executive dining room service.

World-class Cuisine... From gourmet meals for hundreds to intimate dinners for 10, Chef Lincoln and our culinary team brings creativity to the table.

With a menu bank containing more than 2,000 items, no one menu is like any other. Our team at A Legendary Event prides itself on creating custom tailored menus for every celebration. One event may feature dishes reflecting the traditions and tastes from every continent, or a daring dish, such as delectable veal chops, for 700 guests.

Lincoln also executes Conway’s vision for advertising and marketing photo shoots. Each quarterly photo shoot involves approximately 30 plated dishes – from hors d’oeuvres to entrées to desserts.

Lincoln successfully rises to the challenge of working under celebrity owner, Tony Conway.  Chef Lincoln is often called on to create dishes, menus and recipes for television, magazine and newspaper features. This includes a quarterly

photo shoot for Atlanta Magazine’s Home “Table Top” article, and Modern Luxury’s The Atlantan “Food, Drink, Party!” of which Conway is a contributing editor.

Community Involvement... Our entire team at A Legendary Event is committed to giving back to the community and Chef Lincoln does his share: from cooking for Senior Citizen Services to assisting with the High Museum Wine Auction, Lincoln constantly gives back with his time to the community

Gracious Service... As the caterer for many of Atlanta’s premier galas, such as the Historical Society Swan House Ball, American Cancer Society’s Cattle Baron’s Ball, Garden of Eden Ball, High Museum Wine Auction, Sir Elton John’s private events, Grammy Winner Toni Braxton’s wedding, and Jane Fonda’s G-CAPP premieres for five consecutive years, Chef Lincoln and A Legendary Event have the recipe for creating five-star dining for hundreds of Atlanta’s most fabulous guests.

Chef Lincoln – in collaboration with owner Tony Conway – has had the honor of cooking for President George W. Bush, President Bill Clinton, Senator John Kerry, Governor Sonny Perdue, Coca-Cola Executives, Robert Redford, Jennifer Lopez, Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin, Kenneth Cole, and James Caviezel – just to name a few.

In addition, we frequently welcome guest chefs into our kitchen to collaborate on special events – from one of Atlanta’s most celebrated chefs, Chef Guenter Seeger, to chefs visiting from around the globe.  Other notable chefs include chef Gerry Klaskala of Aria, Chef Kevin Rathbun of Rathbun’s, James’ Beard award winner Chef Scott Peacock of Watershed, Chef Harold Marmulstein of Dick and Harry’s, and members of Relais & Châteaux – Chef John Fleer of Blackberry Farm, Chef Graham Fox of the Fearrington House, Chef Robert Carter of Peninsula Grill at Planters Inn, and Chef Scott Crawford of Woodlands Resort & Inn.
