How sweet it was when A Legendary Event’s Executive Pastry Chef Ami Dand appeared on Thursday, January 17th at 10pm ET/PT on Food Network’s Sweet Genius, as she battled it out for $10,000 and the grand title.

Winning the prestigious place of second, Chef Ami stole our hearts as she outdid herself continuing to make her family and everyone at A Legendary Event so very proud.

To sweeten the pot, CEO and Founder of A Legendary Event, Tony Conway, graciously awarded Chef Ami with $10,000. Oh my!

Tune in Thursday, January 17th at 10pm ET/PT to see Chef Ami Dand compete on Food Network’s Sweet Genius, as she battles it out for $10,000 and the title of Sweet Genius!

Premiering Thursday, January 17th at 10pm
“Samba Genius”
With lasers as the inspiration, the chefs attempt to make excellent chocolate desserts from a mandatory blue ingredient and a yellow one. Then, for the candy test, Chef Ron has another entertaining and inspiring surprise that inspires the chefs to use a shockingly colorful tuber in their final dish. In the final round, get ready for a trip back in time, as the last two chefs receive a spicy snack and only 60 minutes to prove who deserves the $10,000 prize.

Play by Numbers
Know your guest count so that you can approximate your numbers. The number of guests has the biggest impact on the number of staff members that are needed for your wedding, so share that number, even if it’s a reasonable guess from the start.

Magnificent Menus
Try to have an idea of what cuisine and style of dinner you would like to serve. If you have no idea, make a list of you and your fiancée’s favorite and least favorite foods. When a chef has a better idea of what you enjoy, they can create a fantastic feast for your friends and family!

Keep It Real
While it can be difficult to determine exactly how many guests will attend, caterers understand that RSVP’s take time. Most companies give you until a few weeks before the wedding to provide your final numbers. Discuss the details.
